Returns the sine of the given angle.
SyntaxSIN (number) Number is the angle whose sine needs to be found, expressed in radians.
DescriptionIf the argument is in degrees, you can multiply it by PI()/180 or use the RADIANS function to convert it to radians.
Trigonometric functions are common mathematical functions that use angle as an independent variable. The sine function refers to the ratio of the opposite side to the hypotenuse in a right triangle.
So how to cleverly use the SIN function in the WPS 2019 EXCEL table to calculate the sine value in one second?
■Open the table, take the sine calculation table as an example, place the cursor at (C4), and click Insert Function - Mathematics and Trigonometric Functions - SIN Function.
A dialog box pops up with one parameter: "Value" refers to the radian value to be calculated, radian = angle*PI()/180.
■Because we already know the angle value, we need to convert the angle value into radians, so we enter (B4)*PI()/180 in "Value".
Click OK to get the sine value of the angle. Place the cursor in the lower right corner of (C4) and fill in the formula when it is + to get the sine values of all angles.
