Wang Yunming, deputy director of the Ticket Committee of the China Collectors Association and secretary-general of the Hubei Province Collectors Association, specializes in collecting calligraphy and painting invitations, tickets and documents, among which he collects many precious invitations to national events And well-known in the domestic collection circle.

The earliest National Day invitation collected by Wang Yunming is from 1953. The owner of the invitation is Huang Minwei. The invitation is red with gold characters, satin surface, vertical version, and the invitation text is printed in traditional Chinese: "To celebrate the National Day of the People's Republic of China, a military parade and mass celebration parade will be held at Tiananmen at 10 a.m. on October 1st. At that time Please come." The inscription is "Preparatory Committee for the Celebration of the National Day of the People's Republic of China" and the date is "September 29, 1953."

Early National Day invitations, especially invitations to watch the ceremony on the Tiananmen Gate Tower, are now hard to see in the market. It is a coincidence that Wang Yunming collected this invitation. That year was a time when Beijing was undergoing massive demolitions. This invitation was sold as scrap by the original saver, and then passed into the hands of collectors who began to "raise the price". The price was so high that a collector in Beijing finally gave up. Wang Yunming learned about this through a friend, and immediately made a long-distance call to contact him, and finally bought it as he wished. In 2005, the person selling the invitations approached Wang Yunming again and hoped to pay 10 times the price, but the latter declined.

It can be seen from Wang Yunming's collection that before 1955, all invitations to the National Day viewing ceremony at Tiananmen Rostrum were vertical, gold-plated, and in traditional Chinese characters. After 1966, it was changed to horizontal version of simplified Chinese characters.
