After setting the permissions for the team folder, we will encounter that some files in the team are allowed to be edited by members, while some folders are not allowed to be edited by members. For folders that are not allowed to be edited, we can set permissions for the files in them.
Take document A as an example. If we want to set it to allow members to edit only, we can do this:
1. Select document A, right-click "Who can edit", and a permission setting window will pop up.
2. On the right side of "Who can edit", we can set the members who are allowed to edit this document.
3. If we set it to "Only some people can edit this document", then only allowed members can edit it, and other team members can only view it.
If we want to set document B to only allow some members to view it and not edit it, we can do this:
1. Select file B, right-click "Who can view", and a permission setting window will pop up.
2. On the right side of "Who can view", we can set the members allowed to view this document.
The above are the basic operations for setting document permissions in team folders. In the next issue, we will explain in more detail how to set document permissions accordingly when encountering different types of "permission" settings.
Keep learning and make progress together.
