[Advanced Strategy] PPT Scientific Research Drawing Skill Sharing (019) - Drawing a schematic diagram of a photoelectric detector

Hello! In order to better assist you, I need more information. You want me to create a photodetector schematic for you similar to the reference diagram, yes? Please tell me what elements and details you require so I can better understand your needs.

Hello, everyone! Welcome everyone to pay attention to PPT scientific research drawing. Today I will continue to bring you PPT scientific research drawing tutorials. I hope to get your support!

In this tutorial we will learn how to use PPT to draw a photodetector schematic diagram. The reference picture comes from AngewandteChemieInternationalEdition (Angew.Chem. Int. Edit., 2019, 58(36), 12574-12579).

Now, let’s start our 19th PPT scientific research drawing practical tutorial.

Step 1

First, we need to draw Au and SiO2. Insert 4 rectangles and set their sizes: Rectangle 1 and 2 are both 1.5 cm in height and width; Rectangle 3 and 4 are 1 cm in height and 11 cm in width.

Then, format the shape, including fill and line. The fill colors are set to yellow for rectangles 1 and 2, beige for rectangle 3, and gray for rectangle 4; the lines are set to no lines.

Step 2

Next, draw the C atom. Insert 2 ellipses and set their size to 0.3 cm in height and width. The shape format is set to fill color: Ellipse 1 is light blue, Ellipse 2 is gray; the lines are also set to no lines. The three-dimensional format is set to top prism-circle, the material is warm and rough, and the light source is soft. Please refer to the figure below for specific parameters.

Step 3

Now we can draw electrons and holes. Insert 2 ellipses and set the size to a height and width of 0.4 cm. At the same time, insert two isosceles triangles and set the size to a height of 1 cm and a width of 0.3 cm. The fill colors in the shape format are set to: Ellipse 1 and Isosceles Triangle 1 are red, Ellipse 2 and Isosceles Triangle 2 are blue. The transparency of the isosceles triangle is set to 80%. Glow effect settings are: Isosceles Triangle 1 is red, Isosceles Triangle 2 is blue, Size is 3 points, Opacity is 60%. The 3D format settings are the same as for C atoms.

Step 4

Next, draw the electron-hole pairs. Insert 3 ovals with the following sizes: ellipse 1 and 2 have a height and width of 0.4 cm; ellipse 3 has a height of 0.5 cm and a width of 1.2 cm. Set the fill colors to red and blue for ellipses 1 and 2, light gray for ellipse 3 and set the transparency to 80%. Line settings: Ellipses 1 and 2 have no lines, Ellipse 3 uses a solid gray line with a width of 0.5 pt. 3D formatting is the same as the previous step.

Step 5

Then, draw Light. Insert a crescent shape and set the size to a height of 3 cm and a width of 2.5 cm; insert an ellipse and set the size to a height and width of 2.5 cm. In the shape format, the fill of the crescent is set to solid white; the fill of the ellipse is set to white.
