On Teacher's Day, did you send out red envelopes or express delivery? I didn't post it at all. The holiday feels pointless now. Today's schools make parents more and more tired, making them unable to feel grateful. If their children were not in school, many people would call the mayor's hotline without hesitation. Children are now more like hostages in the hands of schools, and all kinds of messy things can be arranged for parents. Looking back on my previous student days, I feel nostalgic.
Teacher's Day is a holiday specially established to express respect and gratitude to teachers. In China, September 10th is Teachers' Day every year. On this day, students will send flowers, greeting cards, gifts, or perform in class to say "thank you" or "for your hard work" to their teachers. Teachers will also receive blessings and praise from schools, parents, and society, and feel their own value and dignity.
However, as times change, Teachers' Day seems to have lost its original meaning and charm. Many people's Teacher's Day blessings have become formulaic, mechanical and boring.
