Want to insert a number showing the current slide page number in the slide, or want to insert the date and time, and a specific footer mark in the slide.
You can use the "Slide Number" and "Date and Time" functions.
▪Click the "Slide Number" function button on the "Insert" tab and check "Slide Number" so that the slides will be numbered.
▪Check "Date and Time" to add date and time on the slide.
▪Check "Footer" to enter specific footer text.
▪If you encounter the situation where the slideshow cannot display the corresponding content after checking the number, date, and footer.
It may be because the current slide master has deleted the corresponding placeholder area.
Click the "View" tab "Slide Master" - "Master Layout" and check the placeholder options such as "Date", "Number" and "Footer" , close the master view, so that the number, date, and footer are displayed.
▪There is another possibility that the slide master image covers the number, date, and footer.
Click the "View" tab "Slide Master", and you can see that a picture has been inserted into the master.
After deleting the image covering the number, date, and footer, close the master view so that the number, date, and footer are displayed.
If you need to set a background image in the slide master, it is recommended that you use the "Background" function in the slide master to set it.
