MID returns a user-specified number of characters in a text string starting at the specified position.

Syntax
MID(text,start_num,num_chars)
Text is the text string containing the characters to be extracted.
Start_num is the first element to be extracted from the text character position. The first character in the text has start_num equal to 1, and so on.
Num_chars specifies the characters you want MID to return from the text number.

Description
￭ If start_num is greater than the text length, MID returns empty text().
￭ If start_num is less than the text length, but start_num If num_chars exceeds the length of the text, MID will only return up to the text

Click OK to extract the year, month and day of the ID card.
