Converts a text string representing a number into a number.
Syntax
VALUE(text)
Text is quoted text, or a reference to the cell that needs to be text converted.
Description
• Text can be any constant, date or time format recognized in the WPS table.
If Text is not in these formats, function VALUE returns the #VALUE! error value.
• There is usually no need to use the VALUE function in formulas, WPS Forms can automatically convert text to numbers when needed.
This function is provided for compatibility with other spreadsheet programs.
Tips
To display numbers as times, select the cell and click Cells on the Format menu, click the Number tab, and then click
Time in the Category box.
