When we edit Word, we always ask to use a certain format, a certain font, layout, etc., but it is really complicated to debug these every time, so is there a once-and-for-all method?
Today, I will give you an example to set the font and style. When you create a new Word next time, it will become the default!
1. Default font size
Click [Start] - [Font] icon in the lower right corner, and in the different options on the pop-up page, you can choose other formats such as font size, and then click [Set as default] - [Document based on Normal.dotm template] to confirm.
2. Default page layout
Click the icon in the lower right corner of [Start] - [Layout], and you can set the page margin, the number of lines per page, the number of words per line, etc. in the different options of the pop-up page, and then click [Set Default] - [Based on the Normal.dotm template document], OK.
Restore default settings
Through the examples of the above two setting methods, you can also set other formats in the same way. So if you want to change back to the initial state of word, how should you do it?
Enter the following path, find [Normal.dotm] or [Normal], and delete it, the original format of Word can be restored.
If Office is 2010 or above:
C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Templates
If office is 2007 or below:
C:\Documents and Settings\username\application data\microsoft\templates
Note: The user name of different computers will be different, and the default is Administrator.
