Yesterday I shared what to do if the drawing is not fully displayed. Many users in the background asked, what should I do if the font is missing? This question has been posted a lot, this time I edited the previously pushed article and shared it with you, hoping to help.
In daily work, if you open the drawings of Party A or some other party, you will be prompted that one or more shx fonts are missing. This is the most common problem, so how to solve this kind of problem? Many friends who have not studied for a long time or have used the software for a long time have this problem, as shown in the picture below:
A dialog box pops up to assign fonts to styles;
You have two options at this point:
1. Find the font in the lower left corner and put it in the CAD installation directory fonts, and open it again.
Open the homepage of CAD self-study website and click search;
Note: Search for font names such as @extfont2 or @extfont2.shx.
Just download it;
After downloading and decompressing, you will get a file like this, select and press crtl+c to copy;
Select the desktop CAD shortcut key, right click and select the location where the file is opened;
Find the Fonts folder;
Open, paste the font inside.
Close the software and open the drawing again to solve the problem.
2. Replace with existing large font
Generally, use gbcbig.shx for Chinese and gbenor.shx for English, except for special characters, such as steel bar symbols.
Method two, ignore shxfont
After opening the drawing, enter st and press Enter;
Replace the font that displays the exclamation mark in the text style with other fonts or find the font and put it in the CAD installation directory fonts;
Note:
1. What should I do if there is no shx font dialog box when I open the drawing?
Answer: use st to see the text style
2. I have downloaded thousands of fonts, why are there still shortages?
Answer: In fact, you can’t do it under 10,000, because it recognizes the font name, and the upper and lower case are different, such as gbcbig.shx font, I change the name to cadzxw.shx, use If you draw a picture with this font and send it to others, there is a high probability that the font is missing. Specifications are really important! ! !
For another example, Hztxt and hztxt are different, because one H university and one lowercase.
