In the past, many friends didn’t know that fonts were copyrighted, and it was incredible to hear about infringement. Fortunately, everyone’s copyright awareness has increased significantly in recent years, and font copyrights must be respected!
But this is not to say that we can’t touch all fonts at all. There are many fonts that are either donated or open source. These fonts are available for free commercial use by individuals and businesses.
Today, I sorted out some free commercial fonts collected before, and please use them according to the source of copyright. With these fonts, you don’t have to worry about copyright infringement, and you can put down the stone in your heart!
1. Siyuan font series
Siyuan series fonts are jointly developed by Adobe online font library Typekityu and Google. Currently, Siyuan HeiTi and Siyuan SongTi series are available for free commercial use.
Siyuan HeiTi is a sans-serif font. There are no decorative lines at the beginning and end of the text, and the thickness of the strokes is relatively consistent.
This series provides support for Japanese, Korean, and Chinese (simplified/traditional), and includes 7 boldfaces of different sizes. Simplified Chinese supports all Chinese characters stipulated in the Chinese national standard GB 18030 and the "General Standard Chinese Character Table" promulgated by the Ministry of Education in 2013, which can be said to be very comprehensive.
Friends who have used it should know that this series of fonts has two English names. Adobe calls it Source Han Sans (思源黑体), while Google calls it Noto Sans CJK (CJK: Chinese, Japanese, Korean), don’t doubt it Life, which refers to the same word.
Different from Siyuan HeiTi, Siyuan SongTi has decorative lines or prominent details at the head and tail. It is a serif font and is more suitable for inner text or paragraph text.
Like Siyuan HeiTi, Siyuan Song also supports Japanese, Korean, and Chinese, with 7 levels of font weight. Each of the series has 65,535 glyphs, ensuring a consistent visual aesthetic with few default characters.
In addition, Siyuan soft black body and Siyuan true black body are also free and commercially available. Soft black rounds the corners of Siyuan black text, making the overall look more lively and cute, while true black has made some adjustments and changes in details. It looks sharper.
You would never have imagined that there are three Mingti series modified from Siyuan Songti that are also available for free and commercial use, supporting traditional Chinese fonts, namely Yuan Lumeni, Yuanyang Mingti and Yuanyun Mingti.
Second, zhanku font series
As a popular interactive platform for designers in China, ZCool not only gathers millions of excellent designers, but also shares a variety of free fonts for commercial use.
Zaku high-end black is a standard font library with 6,763 Chinese characters, numbers and English letters, which was created and developed by nearly a hundred designers from Zaku.com.
Zhankukuhei was released on the 10th anniversary of Zhanku. It contains 3,500 commonly used characters, 52 English letters, 10 Arabic numerals and Nuogan punctuation marks. Awesome in other scenes.
The zhanku happy font is also created collectively by Zakuol users. It is made by font designer Liu Bingke and 150 font design friends (original font design: sigmamedia). The style of this font is relaxed and pleasant, just like its name.

This character was designed by Big Cat Addict. It is the first Western font launched by Zaku.com, and it is also the first public welfare Western font library named by Zaku. It contains 52 letters, 10 numbers and 24 symbols.
Third, Founder font series
The Founder font is believed to be the most common character you have seen, right? Founder Electronics is the earliest professional manufacturer engaged in the development of Chinese fonts in China. It has always been well-known for its rich fonts, excellent quality, and wide application.
Founder Font also provides four free fonts for "commercial release", Founder HeiTi, Founder Book Song, Founder Fangsong and Founder KaiTi, which are commercially available, but written authorization is required.
Fourth, full font font series
You must be familiar with "Shuowen Jiezi", so do you know that there is a very good font called Shuowen Jiezi? There are three free fonts in Quanziku: Quanziku Shuowenjiezi, Quanziku Zhengsong, Quanziku Zhengkai, among which there is Shuowenjiezi font!
V. Carved stone record font series
Friends who like classical and old styles are blessed. The free characters introduced above are basically simplified characters, while the carved stone record series are traditional characters (original font design: sigmamedia), full of ancient flavor. Six, Wang Hanzong font series
Wang Hanzong's free font was developed by Professor Wang Hanzong of the Mathematics Department of Chung Yuan University. Professor Wang Hanzong first donated ten sets of WCL series fonts and 32 sets of new fonts in 2000 and 2004 respectively. All of them are distributed under the GNU GPL license and can be promoted for free use.
Most of the fonts in this series adopt Taiwanese standard writing or traditional writing, mostly in traditional Chinese, and some characters may be default, but there are many free fonts, which are worth recommending.
Seven, Taiwan Ministry of Education Series
This series is also from Wanwan, and there are three types available for free use by the Ministry of Education of Taiwan: the standard regular script of the Ministry of Education of Taiwan, the standard Song style of the Ministry of Education of Taiwan, and the official script of national characters of the Ministry of Education of Taiwan.
There is also a Taiwanese Ming font suitable for printing ancient books and documents that can be used for free. The font structure of this font is stable, solemn and generous, and the beauty of Chinese characters is fully displayed.
Eight, Wenquanyi font series
Wenquanyi is a public welfare organization aiming to develop open source and free Chinese electronic resources (such as Chinese character fonts, thesaurus, etc.), and Wenquanyi HeiTi and Wenquanyi Weihei are commercially available.

1. Seto font
This font is easy and casual, and it is cute to use. The font includes commonly used traditional Chinese characters and multiple languages.
2. Pangmen Zhengdao title style
Jointly developed and designed by Pangmen Zhengdao and Ziyou Space Creative Studio (original font design: sigmamedia), it is not too beautiful to be used as a title, especially a poster and an e-commerce single page!
3. Zheng Qingke butter body
Designed by Zheng Qingke, the font has a unique style and distinctive personality. The cute strokes and shapes are not too suitable for store signs, logos and comics.
4. Armored Ming dynasty body
Japanese font enthusiasts modified it based on Siyuan Song typeface. You can see that the biggest difference from Siyuan is that the horizontal strokes are particularly slender, which forms a sharp contrast with other strokes.
5. Oradano-Mincho Ming Dynasty
This is a Japanese typeface printing effect font. The edge of the font is not the usual smooth effect, but the visual experience of broken edges and dipping, which is very flavorful.
