When using tables to process data, cross-table references are often involved.
When using a function to reference data from other workbooks, the referenced workbook must be open at the same time, otherwise an error will occur.
The import data function in WPS tables can solve this trouble.
The following operations will help everyone understand.
■There are two workbooks here, and now we want to summarize some data from the two tables.
Create a new blank workbook and click "Data" - "Import Data" in the menu bar.
In the pop-up dialog box, we can see that there are four ways to connect to the data source:
Directly open data files, ODBC DSNs, and other advanced and manually entered connection statements.
Here we choose to open the data file directly.
Click to select the data source. In the pop-up dialog box, we choose to open the data source. You can see the table name, available fields, etc.
■Select the required fields and click Next. At this time, you can choose the sorting method and filtering function.
Choose to continue to the next step, in step four we can preview the form.
Click Finish to import the external data table into this form.
If you cannot import external workbook data, it may be that the ACCESS2010 data engine is not installed. We can download and install it from the Internet.
■If we change the data source table, how to update it synchronously?
Return to the reference table and click Refresh All to import the data source.
At this point you can update the data source in the table!
Importing external data can not only save time, but also be fast and safe. Let’s learn it quickly~
