[Bidirectional association field]
When managing employee contracts, if we want the contract management form to be as concise as possible, but at the same time be able to view the detailed information of the employees corresponding to a certain contract, then we can use [ Bidirectional association] is implemented by this field.
[Reference field]
If we also want to display which department the employee belongs to in this table, we can directly insert the [Reference] field to the left/right. The [Reference] field can reference the data of a certain field from the associated data table. Setting [Reference Field] to [Department] can directly reference the department of the employee with that name from the associated data table based on [Name]. Similarly, if you want to display the employee's phone number, gender, etc., you can also use the [Reference] field to achieve this.
[Automatic tasks]
The [Automatic Task] field in the light dimension table can realize the automatic reminder function. Just imagine, if we want to implement automatic reminders in traditional tables, we may set it up through formulas combined with conditional formatting. However, with this setting, even if the contract expires, you still need to open a traditional form to see it. The advantage of the [Automatic Task] field is that it will remind the corresponding person in charge through a message pop-up window.
