Three ways to install fonts on your computer
Computer systems generally come with many fonts, but these fonts cannot fully meet our needs. Many people choose to download some fonts they like from the Internet and install them on the computer. How to install these fonts?
The format of the general font file is TrueType, that is, TTF format. Of course, there are other formats, but TTF format is the most common one. This article takes the installation of font files in TTF format as an example to tell you how to install fonts.
Method One:
After downloading the font file in TTF format, click it directly, and a window will pop up, click Install in the upper right corner. If this font has already been installed on your computer, it will prompt whether to overwrite the installation.
Method Two:
Font files are generally installed in the Windows-font folder in the c drive (system drive). Therefore, it is also possible to copy the TTF file directly into this folder. The advantage of this method is that it can be installed in batches. If you want to install or uninstall many fonts, you need to click them one by one in method 1. This method can copy multiple files into it. By the way, method one can only install fonts, not uninstall fonts.
Method Three:
The third method is to use font management software. I don't use this method often, because I have to install software, but it is still very convenient for people with too many fonts on their computers. There are many online font software, and friends who are interested can find out by themselves. The disadvantage of using font management software, as I have already said, is that additional software needs to be installed. The advantage is that it is fast and intuitive. Use method 1 to install fonts one by one, which is too slow, and you cannot preview them when you use method 2 to uninstall. But font management software can. As long as you have installed fonts, each font can be previewed on the software for easy screening.
