The purpose of this training is to provide an in-depth interpretation of the "Guidelines for Nursing Practice in the Operating Room (2019 Edition)". Members and colleagues in the operating room will give full play to the role of bridges and links to spread the spirit of the guideline to hospitals at all levels in Luliang, effectively promoting the knowledge of nursing in the operating room. To better promote the "learning guide, comprehend the guide, and use the guide" among nursing colleagues in the operating room, accelerate the homogenization of specialized nursing in the operating room and the professional development of the nursing team in the operating room. The meeting was presided over by Director Zhang Hongmei of the Nursing Department of Fenyang Hospital in Shanxi Province. Yan Xiaohong, member of the Operating Room Professional Committee of the Chinese Nursing Association, director of the Shanxi Provincial Nursing Association, and chairman of the Operating Room Professional Committee, made an in-depth interpretation of aseptic technique and the safe use of electrosurgical equipment for patients with internal implants.
Wu Qiaolan, chairman of the Lvliang Operating Room Professional Committee and the head nurse of the operating room of the Luliang People's Hospital, made a report on the work of the Lvliang Operating Room Committee in 2019, and explained in detail the prevention of accidental injuries of surgical patients.
Chen Tao, deputy director of the Luliang Operating Room Professional Committee and the head nurse of the operating room of Fenyang Hospital in Shanxi Province, explained the use and management of operating beds and defibrillators.
In the afternoon, the teaching competition of "Guidelines for Nursing Practice in Operating Room" was held, and 14 contestants from hospitals at all levels in Luliang City competed fiercely. The leadership of the hospital and the Nursing Department gave great attention and strong support to this competition.
In this competition, Professor Yan Xiaohong, chairman of the Operating Room Professional Committee of Shanxi Provincial Nursing Association, Associate Professor Liu Aimei, director of the Surgical Nursing Teaching and Research Office of Fenyang College of Shanxi Medical University, and Zhong Chaoyang, a teacher of the Surgical Nursing Teaching and Research Office of Fenyang College of Shanxi Medical University, were invited as judges.
The content of the teaching competition closely revolves around the 2019 edition of the "Guidelines for Nursing Practice in Operating Room". Through exquisite PPT, the contestants use vivid pictures, rich text, live demonstrations and other means to combine their rich work experience accumulated in their work with the guidelines. Theoretical knowledge was effectively combined, and the judges and teachers strictly followed the competition scoring standards to give comprehensive scores to the contestants. After 4 hours of fierce competition, the first, second and third prizes and excellence awards were finally selected.
After the competition, the judges made detailed professional comments on each contestant's on-site performance and shortcomings, and gave guiding opinions, which was very inspiring to everyone.
As a place for surgical treatment and rescue of critically ill patients, the operating room has a special nursing work mode. It is believed that through the interpretation of the guidelines and the teaching competition, the specialized nursing work in the operating room will be further standardized, the overall nursing and teaching level in the operating room will be improved, the development of regional specialization in the operating room will be accelerated, and efforts will be made to provide safe, high-quality and satisfactory nursing services for the people.
