Traditional Chinese medicine, also known as "Han medicine", is a traditional medicine that originated and was created by the Han nationality in China. Traditional medicine with ancient Chinese medical practice as the main body has a history of thousands of years.
There is such a story about the medical exchange between China and Japan. Around AD 414, when the Japanese archipelago was still in the Kofun era, the embryonic form of the country had just taken shape. Once the emperor was ill, and he looked for a doctor everywhere, but he couldn't be cured. Later, Jin Wu, a Korean doctor, appeared. Jin Wu came to the palace, and the medicine cured the emperor's illness. The emperor was overjoyed. After questioning, he found out that Jin Wu had been to China (at that time China was in the period of Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties) and learned Chinese medicine knowledge in China. It was only then that Japan knew that there was still this miraculous medicine in a distant continent, so it began to send people to learn it, and Chinese medicine officially began to make its debut in the Japanese archipelago.
Since then, Sino-Japanese medical exchanges have been recorded in the annals of history. In 552 A.D., Emperor Xiao Yi of Liang Yuan gave Japan a set of "Acupuncture Classics". In 562 AD, Zhi Cong brought "Ming Tang Tu" and 164 volumes of medical books to Japan, and began the direct exchange of Chinese and Japanese medicine.
During the Sui and Tang Dynasties, the medical exchanges between China and Japan became more and more frequent. In 608 A.D., Emperor Tuigu of Japan sent pharmacist Huiri and overseas student Wahan Zhifuyin to China to study medicine. They returned to China in 628 and brought back a large number of Sui and Tang medical books. Afterwards, as Master Jianzhen arrived in Japan from the east, a large number of medical works in the heyday of the Tang Dynasty were continuously introduced to Japan.
Today, with the development of modern medicine, the development of Chinese medicine in China is lamentable. Except for some regular large hospitals, most private Chinese medicine clinics are hard to give people a good impression. They are either liar clinics that exaggerate the effects of Chinese medicine, or It is a small clinic that does not pay attention to image, and it is difficult to give people a sense of trust.
