If Liu Bailing didn't speak, you could easily mistake him for growing up on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.
The first time the reporter saw Liu Bailing was at the snow line of Luodui Peak, the camp of the ski mountaineering project of the 16th Tibet Mountaineering Conference, at an altitude of 5,600 meters. Liu Bailing's complexion is dark and shiny, no different from the Tibetan coach beside him who has been engaged in alpine training for many years. But when asked carefully, he said that he was born in Hunan and now lives in Hangzhou. He is an authentic southerner.
