We initially accepted the commission from Sciences & Avenir, a French science and technology monthly magazine, and customized the Columbia A set of unconventional typeface families amalgamated from various historical archetypes.
In earlier manuscripts, this family of characters can be regarded as a Times New Roman The sans-serif form of . But soon, Jean-Baptiste Levée expanded his explorations to include typography from the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries, as enumerated by Guillaume Le Bé and Christophe Plantin. The word family also exploits the so-called Elzevir style, where French and Dutch flavors interact. Together, these stylistic combinations build a confident and trustworthy reputation.
Now the Columbia font family has also been released as a commercial font of the font library for designers and customers.
