Mount Lu not only has the Feiliu Waterfall, a "world wonder", but also has a very rich historical and cultural accumulation. Li Bai spent a period of time living in seclusion here, and at the end of the year he was summoned by King Yong to go down the mountain. During this period, Li Bai wrote this masterpiece "Looking at the Lushan Waterfall", which is well-known to everyone and appreciated by both refined and popular tastes, in order to express his infinite love for the great rivers and mountains of the motherland.
The first two sentences are "the sun shines on the censer to produce purple smoke, and you can see the waterfall hanging from the front of the river." Under the light, the top of the incense burner seems to be curled up with purple smoke, which is as beautiful as a fairyland. And the waterfall flying straight down is like a huge Bailian hanging on the stone wall. A "sheng" character vividly expresses the rising state of smoke and clouds; the character "hang" expresses the appearance of water suddenly pouring down from between the rocky mountain walls. This side shows the steepness of Xianglu Peak. "Flying down three thousand feet, it is suspected that the Milky Way falls nine days." The waterfall rushes down from the high mountain wall, and this huge momentum is like the Milky Way rushing from the clouds. "Fly" describes the rushing momentum of the waterfall, and "three thousand feet" expresses the magnificence of the waterfall with extremely exaggerated techniques. "It is suspected that the Milky Way falls nine days", the poet's peculiar imagination casts a layer of mystery on the Lushan Waterfall.
