Photoshop text processing and style effects

Photoshop is a powerful image processing software. In addition to image processing , it can also perform word processing and style design. In this tutorial, we'll cover how to do word processing and styling in Photoshop.

1. Add text

First, open the image you want to add text to in Photoshop. Select the Type Tool (T), click and drag where you want to add text, creating a text box.

Enter the text you want to add, and you can choose the font, font size, color, etc. In the "Character" panel, you can perform more advanced text processing, such as kerning, line spacing, font weight, etc. After adjusting the text, press the "Enter" key to save the settings.

2. Add style

Now we will add a layer style to the text. Select the text you want to style and open the Layer Style panel. Here you can add shadows, strokes, inner and outer glow, tilt, and more.

For example, we can add a black stroke and a white inner glow. By adjusting the size and color of the style, you can create unique effects.

3. Use shape tools

In addition to adding styles to text, you can also use shape tools to style. Select the Shape Tool in the Toolbar and select the shape you want to create. Click and drag on your image to create a shape.

Now you can add styles to the shape. In the "Layer Style" panel, you can add shadow, stroke, inner and outer glow, and other styles. You can also control the visibility of the shape via Mask.

4. Use filters

Finally, you can use filters in Photoshop to further enhance text and shapes. In the Filter menu, you can choose from many different filters, such as blur, sharpen, artistic effects, etc.

For example, we can add a blur filter to make the text softer. Select your text layer and choose the Blur option in the Filter menu. Here you can choose different blur types and strengths.

Very unique effects can be created in Photoshop. You can make your text and shapes more creative by adding layer styles, using shape tools, and filters.
