Extract pinyin (furigana) characters from a text string. This function is only available in the Japanese version.
Grammar
PHONETIC(reference)
PHONETIC function syntax has the following parameters:
Reference: Required, a text string or a reference to a single cell or range of cells containing the furigana text string.
Description
￭ If reference is a range of cells, returns the furigana text string in the upper left corner cell of the range.
￭ If reference is a range of non-adjacent cells, the error value #N/A will be returned.
