In addition to leaving many outstanding calligraphy works for the world, Ouyang Xun's greatest contribution lies in sorting out the structure of regular script. By sorting out the font structure of regular script, Ouyang Xun summed up 36 methods of regular script structure, which is the "Thirty-Six Methods of Ouyang Xun" recorded in the history of calligraphy. The emergence of these thirty-six methods indicates that the concept of calligraphy structure in our country has matured, played a very important role in the development of calligraphy, and also provided a reference for calligraphy lovers to learn regular script.
