Returns the standard normal distribution function (a distribution with mean 0 and standard deviation 1).

You can use this function in place of the standard normal curve area table.


Syntax - Standard Normal Distribution

NORM.S.DIST(z,cumulative)

NORM.S.DIST function syntax has the following parameters:

Z: required. Its distribution needs to be calculated.

cumulative: required. Cumulative is a logical value that determines the form of a function.

NORMS.DIST returns the cumulative distribution function if cumulative is TRUE, or the probability density function if cumulative is FALSE.


Description

￭If z is non-numeric, NORM.S.DIST returns the #VALUE! error value.
