When opening the drawings of Party A or some other party in daily work, it prompts that one or more shx fonts are missing. It is the most common problem, so how to solve this kind of problem? Many friends who have not studied for a long time or have used the software for a long time have this problem, as shown in the picture below:

As shown in the picture above, it prompts that a shx font is missing. There are two solutions:

Method 1. Click to specify a replacement file for each shxfile

A dialog box pops up to assign fonts to styles;

You have two options at this point:

1. Find the font in the lower left corner and put it in the CAD installation directory fonts, and open it again.

Open the homepage of CAD self-study website and click search;

Note: Search for font names such as @extfont2 or @extfont2.shx.

Just download it;

After downloading and decompressing, you will get a file like this, select and press crtl+c to copy;

Select the desktop CAD shortcut key, right click and select the location where the file is opened;

Find the Fonts folder;

Open, paste the font inside.

Close the software and open the drawing again to solve the problem.

2. Replace with existing large font

Use gbcbig.shx for Chinese and gbenor.shx for English, except for special characters.

Method two, ignore shxfont

What if it appears after ignoring? number, selected? number, press ctrl+1, open the properties dialog box to see the text style of the font;

Enter st and press Enter to open the text style;

Replace the fonts with exclamation marks in this style or displaying exclamation marks in other styles with other fonts or find the fonts and put them in the CAD installation directory fonts;

Finally, the above can basically solve 99% of font problems.

Note:

1. What should I do if there is no dialog box prompting that the shx font is missing when I open the drawing?

Answer: Select the question mark, see the text style used by the feature, open the text style dialog box, and find or replace the exclamation mark font.

2. I have downloaded thousands of fonts, why are there still shortages?

Answer: Because some people like to name fonts randomly, obviously hztxt.shx, he insists on changing it to woshidashen.shx, I can’t help it!
