I told my friends about "Salt Typeface" before, and I saw someone leave a message saying "this font is so cute", which also caused some controversy about the beauty and ugliness of the font.
In my opinion, the handbook font is very personal, just write and record in the way you like.
The so-called salt-based fonts were originally just a person’s preferred writing style. When there were many people who liked them, some people summed up the characteristics of this font, or called a certain font “salt-based”. As long as you are confident enough in your own fonts, you will form your own style if you stick to it. Everyone's fonts are unique.
Why is the salt font so cute? Thinking about it carefully, maybe because of its loose structure, it is like a child’s carefree, innocent and casual; maybe because of its crooked shape and unbalanced stroke length, it is like a child exploring the world and mischievous~
So to expand, if we want to write "cute", then we have to think more about children and the common characteristics of all cute things:
