Social Stories are a proven training method. The results of the 2014 EBP study showed that social stories are effective for children with autism in social interaction, communication skills, joint attention, behavior, school readiness, play, adaptability and academic achievement. So parents have high expectations for social stories, yet know very little about how to write them.
On January 19, 2020, Naaixing Cultural Education Consulting (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd. held a course on social stories at Guangzhou Haizhu District Youth Home - Green Bar Public Welfare LectureIn the second lecture, Dr. Jin Jing shared a standard tutorial on writing social stories with parents. Hope that through the interpretation of the creation, function, goals and standards of social stories, Parents can help children in need by making normative social stories. Specially share the PPT carefully organized by Dr. Jin on the official account of Naaixing, for the reference of teachers and parents, and to learn together!
