I personally released a font called "Demo Novice Book". It can be regarded as fulfilling my personal "initial heart" two years ago. The idea of making a font library for slideshows has been around since 2016-17. It was during that time that I began to contact some friends who are professional in font design, hoping to jointly produce a free and commercially available title word for slideshow enthusiasts and practitioners. I am willing to bear the cost of making fonts, but in fact, many font designers I met are talking about font feelings while thinking about how to make more money from this set of fonts, but the ability to create characters is still not enough. Match the quote. So, after entering 2019, I tried to start making fonts myself. In the ensuing 45 days of confusion, except for a few slide projects that had to be settled before the Chinese New Year, basically all the time was spent on the font library. A passable handwriting and named it: "Demo Beginner's Book". Thanks to many friends in the P circle, this set of fonts appeared in the press conferences of Bytedance, Alibaba, JD.com, Baidu, Huawei, Dell, Panasonic, Skyworth, China FAW and other companies. In fact, sometimes I doubt whether this set of words is worthy of these companies. Of course, I was also fortunate to receive the acquisition invitation from Zihun.com and Hanyi Ziyou, but in line with the attitude of being responsible to past users, and it is also my first personal font library, it must not be sold! ! !
Counting the working time, I have made slides for 8 years. After going through creation, delivery, on-screen, and roadshow, the life of the slide show has come to an end, and it can only stay quietly in the computer hard drive. I don’t know if this is a pity or a sorrow.
Writing is actually much less popular than making slides, but its life and service breadth cannot be measured by the time spent. It is every designer’s daily necessities, more importantly, to Inheritance of Chinese character culture. So after entering March, I rejected all the customization of the slides. Up to now, it has lasted 120 days, and I will present the second set of fonts for the slides, named: "Demonstration of Zhenhun Xingkai"! Although it was 60 days later than expected, but fortunately it arrived as promised, and I would like to use this word to respect my original heart and lifelong demo school. Although I made another set of characters, I knew I was still a novice. There is no systematic font class on the Internet, and I feel that the climbing is too slow, but there are some things that must be done, and cross the river by feeling the stones, which is very good.
This set of characters is still a simplified Chinese font library, which contains 6763 Chinese characters and related punctuation and numbers, excluding English. Using pure board painting handwriting + spelling synthesis of radical strokes, I wrote more than 1,000 characters in the initial production of radicals, and most of the time was spent on this, trying to keep the large strokes and flying white of the strokes to meet the tension of the text, among which Some of the strokes are reverse strokes. While respecting the structure of traditional calligraphy, we strive to make each character beautiful. I hope someone will like it.
