"Liu Jiang, can you recommend some commonly used English fonts? Others recommend Chinese fonts, and few introduce English fonts..."
I opened several mainstream accounts in the PPT circle and the design circle, and looked it up. It seems that this is indeed the case, and few people recommend English fonts.
So, today I will briefly share with you some of my commonly used English fonts.
(It is not very practical, after all, for Chinese people, it is mainly Chinese scene)

According to the modification degree of strokes, there are two types of English fonts: serif fonts and sans serif fonts.
Font features:
1. The strokes are of equal thickness.
2. Where the strokes start and end, there is no additional modification.
Applicable scenarios:
The font is simple and easy to read, suitable for titles and large paragraphs of text in formal scenes.
Recommended font 1: Arial
Many software in the Microsoft system default to English fonts, which are highly readable on the computer screen.
Recommended font 2: Calibri
It is the default font of the Microsoft Office 2007 package software, which is softer and simpler, replacing the Arial font.
Recommended font 3: Helvetica
Helvetica is a widely used English font, and it is the default font for Apple computers.
Recommended font 3: Agency FB
Thinner sans serif typeface, more eye-catching, suitable for headings; but slightly less readable, not suitable for large blocks of text.
Recommended font 5: Impact
Bolder sans serif font, more eye-catching, suitable for headings;
But the readability is slightly poor, not suitable for large text.
Font features:
1. The strokes are thick and thin.
2. There are additional decorations at the beginning and end of the strokes.
Applicable scenarios:
The font is personalized and eye-catching, suitable for titles and large texts in specific scenarios.
Recommended font 1: Adobe Garamond Pro
Classic light serif font, suitable for text typesetting, full of classical temperament.
Recommended font 2: Blackletter
Traditional handwritten English fonts have a very strong sense of form and are suitable for some special scenarios, but not suitable for large texts.
Recommended font 3: Algerian
A three-dimensional serif font, which is more eye-catching.
Recommended font 4: Magneto
A scribbled, handwritten serif font for letter-like scenes.
Recommended font 5: Didot
A more stylish serif font.
Recommended font 6: Bodoni font
A very elegant modern serif font.
The sans-serif font is relatively neutral and has no special personality. It emphasizes the readability of words and is suitable for any scene without error.
The serif font is relatively fashionable and individual, with a strong sense of form and design, and is suitable for use in titles in some fashion, literature, advertising, etc. scenarios (large paragraphs of text depend on the situation).
