Returns the probability value of the univariate binomial distribution. The function BINOMDIST is suitable for a fixed number of independent experiments, when the result of the experiment only contains success or failure

BINOMDIST(number_s,trials,probability_s,cumulative)

Number_s The number of successful trials.

Trials The number of independent trials.

Probability_s The probability of success on each trial.

Cumulative determines the logical value of the function form.

If cumulative is TRUE, BINOMDIST returns the cumulative distribution function, the probability of at most number_s successes; if FALSE,

The probability density function is returned, that is, the probability of number_s successes.

Description

Number_s and trials will be truncated.

If number_s < 0> trials, BINOMDIST returns the error value #NUM!.

If probability_s < 0> 1, BINOMDIST returns the #NUM! error value.

If number_s, trials, or probability_s are nonnumeric, BINOMDIST returns the #VALUE! error value.
