Lex Wilson is from Cambridge, England. The author started creating three-dimensional fonts a few years ago. Before that, I have been engaged in the design and typesetting of fancy fonts. Later, I felt that I should explore a new direction of font design, so I created a series of visually deceptive "fake" 3D fonts.
Lex Wilson graduated in product design, so he has a solid foundation in drawing three-dimensional objects on paper. By assigning different materials, realistic shadows, and various perspective angles to the letters, the text in the screen presents a strong sense of realism, as if it can be touched.
More than that, the words in the picture and the forms they represent are also interrelated or even punned. For example, "help", the four letters seem to be trapped in the quagmire and need help. There are also layers of falling "fall"; wavy "wave"; shortcut keys for copying and pasting, etc.~~ very vivid and interesting.
