1. Li Si in the Qin Dynasty
Li Si (?——208 BC), a native of Shangcai in Chu State, was the Prime Minister of Qin Shihuang, and proposed to unify the national script, and all of them should be changed to Xiaozhuan. Xiaozhuan is a font created by Li Si after reforming Dazhuan.
The Xiaozhuan written by Li Si is wonderful in ancient and modern times. "Longevity Mountain Carved Stone" is his representative work written in Xiaozhuan.

(1) Bamboo slips are mainly "Qin Bamboo Bamboo Slips in Yunmeng Sleeping Tigerland". In 1975, 12 tombs were excavated in Yunmengsuihudi, Hubei, from the end of the Warring States period to the Qin Dynasty. Among them, 2 pieces of wooden tablets were unearthed from Tomb No. 4, which contained family letters; 1,150 pieces of bamboo tablets were unearthed from Tomb No. 11, mainly containing the chronicle of the tomb owner "Xi". for 4 years. Its writing style has changed greatly, which may reflect the development level of official script in different periods and the writing level of the writers. On the whole, it is between seal script and official script, and the factors of official script are very prominent.
(2) Wawen Taowen
From 1979 to 1980, 18 fragments of plate tiles were unearthed in Zhao Beihu Village near the Mausoleum of the First Emperor in Lintong, Shaanxi Province, which were used to record the burial of prisoners; in 1977, 8 pieces of pottery with inscriptions were unearthed in Gaozhuang, Fengxiang County, Shaanxi Province. The basic style of these characters is Xiaozhuan (mainly the former, which is close to the edict version), but some (especially the latter) are similar to Yunmeng Qinli, but the twists and turns are not clear because of the engraving. This shows that the application of official script has become universal to a certain extent. In terms of the artistic treatment of characters, these works are still relatively naive, which shows that official script is in the stage of development.
