Helvetica is an old sans serif font
It has been 62 years since its birth!
It was designed by a Swiss type designer
Eduard Hoffmann
with Max Miedinger
Designed in 1957
Swiss design in the 50s
(i.e. international style)
Because of its use of quantitative design methods
The style is concise, plain and recognizable
Helvetica can be applied to commercial design
