On January 2, the official website of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security released the minimum wage standards in various regions across the country (as of January 1, 2023). From the perspective of monthly minimum wage standards, Shanghai’s monthly minimum wage standard reached 2,590 yuan, ranking first in the country. Second is Shenzhen, with a monthly minimum wage of 2,360 yuan, and third is Beijing, with a monthly minimum wage of 2,320 yuan. Overall, the monthly minimum wage in 14 regions reaches 2,000 yuan and above.
