In this article, I will share the best fonts you can use exclusively for coding. While subjective, I've put together a list of free and paid fonts that make legibility a high priority (bonus points for the fonts looking beautiful too).
1: MonoLisa - font following function
MonoLisa has some unique techniques that improve legibility and makes it more visually pleasing for long viewing periods.
This is my personal favorite font for programming. I discovered this font in early 2020 and used it on CodePen for a while before purchasing a license so I could use it in VSCode and my personal website.
Is it expensive? Yes. But I believe the subtle differences in this font make the viewing experience much better.
